Rock wool products are made from high-quality natural basalt ore and dolomite as the main raw materials. They are melted at high temperatures, spun into fibers at high speeds using centrifugal spinning, and then, using advanced production technology and with the addition of a small amount of binder, are thermosetting and shaped to form boards with a certain strength. Depending on customer needs, the outer surface can be covered with fiberglass cloth or aluminum foil fiberglass cloth. Material varieties include boards, profiles, and pipe shells. They are mainly used for fireproofing and thermal insulation of ship decks and bulkheads, pipelines, and equipment, and can also be used as a core material for composite rock wool wall panels/floating floors.
